Booking & Scheduling
How far in advance do I need to book my ride?
We recommend booking your ride at least 24 to 48 hours in advance to guarantee availability. However, we understand that medical needs can arise suddenly. We do our best to accommodate same-day or last-minute requests depending on our vehicle schedule. Call us directly for same-day bookings.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Absolutely. We encourage one caregiver, family member, or medical companion to ride along free of charge. Please let us know during booking so we can allocate a vehicle with appropriate passenger seating.
How do you handle return trips from appointments?
We offer two options: scheduled pick-up (if you know exactly when your appointment will end) or will-call pick-up. For will-call, you or the clinic staff simply call us when you are ready, and our nearest driver will be dispatched immediately.
Rates, Payments & Insurance
What are your rates, and how are they calculated?
Our pricing is transparent and consists of a base rate (determined by the type of transport: ambulatory or wheelchair,) plus a per-mile charge. There are no hidden fees. Contact us with your exact pickup and drop-off addresses for a free, upfront quote.
Do you accept Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance?
We accept private pay, major credit cards, facility contracts, and worker’s compensation. For Medicare and Medicaid, coverage depends on your specific plan and medical necessity. Please call our billing office, and we will happily help you verify your benefits and explain options.
Can medical facilities set up billing accounts?
Yes. We offer customized corporate billing and monthly invoicing programs for hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, nursing homes, and senior living facilities. Contact our commercial accounts team to set up a facility profile.
Vehicle Safety & Driver Standards
Are your vehicles wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our entire fleet consists of late-model, specialized NEMT vehicles that meet or exceed all ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines. They are outfitted with professional-grade hydraulic lifts or ramps, and specialized security tie-downs.
What qualifications do your drivers have?
Our drivers are the pride of our company. Each driver undergoes rigorous background checks, DMV record reviews, and continuous drug testing. They are certified in CPR and First Aid, and complete specialized Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) and defensive driving courses.
What are your vehicle cleaning and sanitizing protocols?
Patient health is our absolute priority. Every vehicle is thoroughly wiped down, disinfected, and sanitized at the start of each day and after every passenger transfer. We use medical-grade, non-allergenic sanitizers to keep our cabins pristine.
